Isigcina sifuba

Isigina sifuba loosely translates as “the keeper of the chest” The piece wildly worn by women in the Bomvana area, Elliotdale, Eastern Cape. In ceremonies women wear these colorful beads as a way of celebrating and embracing womanhood.
